Ask me how to indulge myself this Rooster year of China’s Spring festival, I would proudly tell you that I travelled by the 48hours Qinghai-Tibet railway myself to the roof of the world, Tibet. If any word is required to summarize the 7 days trip, it will be wild, breathtaking, cultural and dangerous.

1. WHERE TO CHECK IN IN LHASA?
If you are also a solo traveller (and a hedonist) like me, better to prepare yourself to combat the altitude sickness in order to enjoy your TIbet moments. Taking the Rhodiola Rosea is basic and mandatory. The quick access to the cure if high mountain still happens after medication is one of my many excuses to stay with Shangri-La Lhasa. Here are the many other excuses will also attract you to there...
* FOOD- Trust me, Ameliorate Tibetan Cuisine (in western way ) eg. Yak Burger in the pic... is really what you need when you forced yourself to try as many as local delicacies...(don't force yourself too hard)
* THE DESIGN AND INTERIOR!! - As an artist, i love to enjoy the combination of ethic elements with modern fine design.
* THE OXYGEN ROOM- Luckily i have never tried it. Just in case you may need it!
2.JOKHANG TEMPLE, an inseparable part of Tibetan history and culture
On UNESCO's World Heritage list, the Jokhang or "House of the Lord" Temple in Lhasa is the most revered and intensely spiritual holy site in Tibet.
I AGRRED: It's “More interesting outside than in”. Prayer lines extend for miles to enter the temple. All the pilgrims making their rounds, dozens doing prostrations out the front, and on the top floor you get a great view of it all with the potala palace in the distance.
Just like Potala Palace better to visit with a guide, not only the history will immerse you so is the crowd...
3. ROLL THE PRAYER WHEELs in POLATA PALACE
Tibetan prayer wheels are printed in an ancient Indian script or in Tibetan script. Tibetan Buddhists believe that saying this mantra, out loud or silently to oneself, invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.
It is said "Just touching and turning a prayer wheel brings incredible purification and accumulates unbelievable merit." And i am hoping a prosperous 2017 :)
4.WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO ENJOY THE PANORAMA and TAKE SELFIE WITH POTALA PALACE?
IT'S "Medicine King Mountain."
Walk to the white tower which is in front of the palace. Step up to the viewing deck, that's the "Medicine King Mountain." 药王山
5. WHERE THE LOCAL GO IN LHASA？ SWEET TEA HOUSE and TIBETAN CUISINE
Guangming Kamqung Sweet Tea House- Sweet tea and Tibetan noodle are the common among the all tea house in Lhasa. A cup of sweet tea costs you only CNY 0.8, but you will get rich experience in the tea house where you can see how locals enjoying their lives.
MaJi AMi- Very well-known restaurant among tourists for dining in Lhasa downtown. You must Go upstairs and get the top view of very bustling Barkhor Street and watching all the people circling in the same clockwise direction.
6.WHAT IS LIKE TO CUBBING IN LAHSA and WHERE TO GO?
金马四号，朗玛厅 is the place you are looking for. The Booth only cost 500RMB and Budweiser is the appointed drinks in the club. The tibetan dancing and music is something you have to experience. Don't thinking about GET LUCKY here, tibetans are here to seriously watching the performance :P
7. WHERE TO GO OUTSIDE OF LHASA? ROAD TRIP IN TIBET！ ALL THE WAY TO NYING CHI.

I tried BOTH.
The Legendary QINGHAI-TIBET RAILWAY took me 48hrs travelled from Lhasa to Shanghai. Ticket Website: www.12306.cn. You rewarded with one and the only travel experience in the far east with change of landscape and the gradual pollution into mainland China...
* FARE is 850 RMB (6 people room) and 1400 RMB (4 People room).
* It required to get off and to change train in Xi'ning. Because the Lhasa- Xi'ning train supply oxygen within cabinet.
* Prepare yourself with sufficient PORTABLE POWER CHARGE to survive the long nights
* Food is okay. In dinning room and troller you could find home-made Chinese dishing, and it's not bad.
If you fly to Lhasa in the broad daylight, you will be amazed by the rolling hill with white snow tops! The best thing is you are overlooking them. Don't worry. The airport- downtown commute bus awaits you the moment you landed. Fee is about 30 RMB.
